Added information on April 3rd.

This is a forest/wilderness property located in Kibichuo Town, Kaga District, Okayama Prefecture.

The land area is 9,000m2, and is a C-shaped plot surrounding a pond.

Due to its shape, it is a special piece of land that allows you to see the entire area.

There are no houses nearby, so it is a quiet environment.

It's perfect, with native trees, cypress trees and plenty of flat land.

Rain that falls on this land acts as a "funnel" and collects in this reservoir.

The selling price is 1,980,000 yen .

The entire site is bordered by three roads, one of which is a paved road.

Parking is also available on the property from this paved road.

The location is on the right of the image.

There are "No Trespassing" signs posted as a guide.

*

The other two roads are unpaved.

First, the unpaved road (1).

The location is on the right.

There are posts along this road marking property boundaries.

Next, the unpaved road (2).

The unpaved road (2) is currently impassable due to years of soil accumulation.

This is just my opinion, but I feel that if we spend a day shoveling it away, it will be possible for a four-wheel drive vehicle to travel through.

I think gravel will be needed for two-wheel drive vehicles to travel.

The distance is short, so you can purchase it at a home improvement store and do it yourself.

The two pictures below show an unpaved road with soil piled up (2).

It takes time, but it's worth it.

There is a private road like this up ahead.

From here you can drive onto the flat land below.

This area is a north-facing slope and is mainly planted with cypress trees.

I hear that cypress trees on north-facing slopes grow slowly and produce good quality timber.

There is no shortage of building materials.

Now let's take a look at the sunny south-facing side.

The unpaved road (1) faces south, and this photo shows the view from that side.

It goes down a relatively gentle slope.

As you descend, the slope becomes gradually gentler.

Once you get down to the pond, it's mostly flat.

It's quite spacious as well.

This place is quiet and time flows comfortably.

We came to the side of the pond.

A typical reservoir built by our ancestors.

It was particularly cloudy, probably due to the rain that had fallen the day before.

The pond is under the name of Kibichuo Town.

There were also fish.

Photographed from the south looking down the north facing slope.

I was able to take some beautiful photos.

The site is on the left.

The atmosphere of this quiet and enclosed property is exceptional among all forest properties.

My favorite tip is "water."

No drainage is put into this pond.

The system is designed so that only the water that falls on the land is collected like a funnel.

Not even water can get in through the paved road that runs along the property.

A property offering such great conditions for mountain living is rare.

There are various purposes for using this property, but it is especially recommended for those starting a life in the mountains.

*

It might be a good idea to start by living in a tent.

It's also a great place for camping.

I checked the local signal conditions with three companies and found the following:

Please note that this may vary depending on the location, season, and weather.
